North Andover, M.A.—The Merrimack Warriors Men's Hockey team led after the first period but ultimately were outpaced by the Boston College Eagles by a score of
6-4 on Friday night at J.Thom Lawler Arena.

The Warriors once again started out hot, as
Ethan Bono found the back of the net under two minutes into the contest. After the goal the Warriors continued to carry play,
Ivan Zivlak found himself on a breakaway and converted the chance for his first Warriors goal in his career to put Merrimack up two at the break.
In the second period, Boston College would find their breakthrough three minutes into the frame. The Eagles tied the game and eventually took the lead scoring twice more in under two minutes to end the period up 3-2.
Boston College extended their lead in the third scoring twice more to go up 5-2. The Warriors fired themselves back into the contest, with goals from
Mark Hillier and
Matt Copponi.
The Warriors would pull their goaltender in the final minute after forcing an offensive zone draw but the Eagles forced the turnover off the faceoff and scored the empty net goal to close out the contest.
