Men's Hockey Stumped Against Northeastern

Boston, M.A.—The Merrimack Warriors Men's hockey team hung tough but were defeated by the Northeastern Huskies by a score of 5-3 at Matthews Arena on Friday night.
 
The Basics
Merrimack (10-13-1, 3-10-1): 3, Northeastern Huskies (8-12-2, 3-11-0): 5
 
Northeastern got on the board first as they scored 3:12 into the game, but Ben Brar would but the Warriors back on level terms less than a minute later.
 
In period two, the Huskies would strike twice in the first two minutes, before adding one more to carry a three-goal lead into the final period.
 
 
Ethan Bono got the Warriors back on the board early in the third, and Ty Daneault scored another consolation tally with under minute to go but it would the Huskies taking the win.
