Men's Soccer Beaten By Harvard

Cambridge, Mass. -   The Merrimack College Warriors Men's soccer team was beaten by Harvard University on Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup.

  •  After back and forth play for the majority of the first half, the Crimson finally broke through for the game's first goal in the 41st minute. Harvard would head into halftime up by one. The first part of the second half was like the first, back and forth soccer from both teams with minimal amount of offensive output. The Crimson found the back of the net for the second time of the night in the 76th minute, sending them up by a pair. In the 79th minute Herman Rugland lined up for a free kick just outside of the box. After a scrum in from Carlo Romei came away with a goal, his first of the season. Tinashe Muhlauri was also credited with an assist on the score. Harvard would score again in the 85th minute to seal the deal in Cambridge.
UP NEXT: The Warriors head back home to take on Rider University on Saturday night. Game time is set for 4 p.m. at Martone-Mejail Field.
