North Andover, Mass.- The Merrimack College women's ice hockey team were sunk by a third period goal as they fell to the Boston College Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Saturday night.
Merrimack (2-2-0, 2-1-0): 2, Boston College (3-3-0, 2-1-0): 1
Merrimack would snag the lead in the first period, as
Maria Lindberg would keep the puck in at the line and sling it over to
Solveig Gisler who's shot would be redirected in by
Sophie McKinley in front at 7:33 of the first period.
Margaux Favre would make nine saves to take the lead into the room.

In the second, Boston College would tie the game on the powerplay for the lone goal of the period. Favre would make nine more saves in the frame.

In the final period, the lone goal would be scored by Boston College as the winning goal found it's way into the Warrior net on a deflection.
