Women's Golf Secures Second Place Finish in Crusader Invitational

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Merrimack College Women's Golf team placed second in the Crusader Invitational at Worcester Country Club.

Top Finisher: Ava Lucas and Prakruthi Sastry (T-2^nd/+11)

How it Happened

• Lucas had her best finish of the year after shooting a +3 second round to fly up the leaderboard, finishing tied for second
• Prakruthi Sastry was once again excellent finishing off her invitational with a final round 74
• Jillian Johnson added to her stellar freshman campaign with a 12^th place finish shooting a combined 18 over

The fall golf season will come to an end as they will head to South Kent, Connecticut to play Hartford on October 28^th.
