How it Happened
Ten minutes into the first half the Warriors struck first after
Ella Cormier found the back of the net with her fourth goal of the season.
Sophia Keogh earned the assist on the goal the put Merrimack up by one. The Warriors would head into halftime up a score. Less than a minute into the second half, the Mount tied the game up with a goal. Merrimack responded with a goal of their own five minutes later from
Caleigh Christensen.
Aja Alimonti got the assist on the goal the put Merrimack up one. After back and forth play from both teams, the Warriors broke through again, this time it was
Bella Keogh would find the back of the net to put Merrimack up by two scores in the 63
rd minute. Three saves late in the game from goalkeeper
Lily Morgan gave the Warriors the win.
