Hamden, CT.-- The Merrimack College Warriors Men's soccer team tied the game late but were sunk by a late goal as they fell to the Quinnipiac University Bobcats by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday afternoon.

Merrimack took the early lead as
Samuel Biven found his way on the end of Bennet Morill cross just under six minutes in to the half.
Nelton Semedo made three saves including stoning a Bobcats penalty shot to take the one goal lead into the half.
In the second half, Quinnipiac would tie the game shortly after being dropped to 10 men following a red card, and they would take the lead 18 minutes later. Merrimack would find an equalizer of their own as
Beniah Hanson would find the ball at his feet following a rebound from the initial effort from
Archie Day for his first Warriors goal with four minutes to play, but Quinnipiac would score 20 seconds later to capture the win.
