The first period of play was a low scoring affair with just one goal coming from the Red Flash. Merrimack would tie it up at one with a blistering shot from freshman
Gianna Cioni coming off a gorgeous feed from Paige DeGeorge at the 21:08 mark in the second period. The Red Flash quickly answered with a go-ahead goal just minutes later. In the second half of play the Warriors we're unable to get it going offensively and Saint Francis pounced on them. They would add to their one goal lead with two more scores in the third and another in the fourth. The Warriors would end up dropping this one 5-1.
