Boston, Mass.- The Merrimack College women's ice hockey team were defeated by the Boston College Eagles by a score of 7-3 on Saturday afternoon.
Merrimack (4-4-0, 2-3-0): 3, Boston College (6-3-1, 3-1-0): 7
Boston College jumped out to a three goal lead in the first period, before scoring twice in the second period within 76 seconds of each other.

Madison Cardaci broke the shutout at the 14:27 mark of the second period, but the Eagles would score two more times to take a six goal lead.
Chloe Goofers would score a goal in the final two minutes and she would add her second of the afternoon in the third for the contest's final tally.
