Merrimack Alum Jordan Minor Earns Opening Day Roster Spot With Long Island Nets

North Andover, Mass. – Merrimack men's basketball alum Jordan Minor earned a roster spot with the Long Island Nets as announced by the team on Thursday. The Nets are the G-League affilate of the Brooklyn Nets. 

During his four-years in North Andover, Minor was a contributor in two Northeast Conference regular season titles as well as one tournament championship during this 2022-23 season. The Kingston, Mass native scored 1,349 points, grabbed 791 rebounds and blocked 202 shots in is Merrimack career. In his senior season. Minor was awarded Northeast Conference Player and Defensive Player of the Year. He was also selected to the USBWA District I Team and the NABC District 15 Team. During his junior season, Minor was named to the All-NEC Second Team.

Following his graduation from Merrimack in 2023, Minor transferred to the University of Virginia. He played in 32 games for the Cavaliers, starting 18 of them.
