EDISON, N.J. -- The Merrimack College men's basketball team learned about a pair of non-conference opponents set to be on their 2026-27 schedule, as announced by the newly-named Metro Conference on Monday.

Joe Gallo and the Warriors will host UMass Lowell and travel to UAlbany in the first year of the America East - Metro Basketball Challenge. The challenge will take place from Nov. 5 through Nov. 8 with the Warriors playing the aforementioned two teams on those two days.
Game times will be determined by the host school.
The America East - Metro Challenge was agreed to in July 2025 and will take place during each of the next two seasons.
