NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College Baseball team has released their schedule ahead of the 2025 campaign. It will be their first season as a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
As always, the start of the season is played down south as the Warriors begin with a three-game series against Winthrop University from February 14
th-16
th. Merrimack will come back North to play the University of Rhode Island on February 18
th in a midweek test. Another series awaits for the blue and gold as a trip into familiar territory is next. They will play Wagner College starting with a February 22
nd double header and a February 23
rd game to cap it off. Merrimack stays in the northeast, traveling into Rhode Island once again to play Bryant on the 25
th. The Warriors will then fly down to Miami, Florida for a four-game set against Florida International University. That series will begin on February 28
th and wrap up on March 2
nd.
Another midweek meeting in Smithfield against Bryant is next on the 4
th before the Warriors first MAAC series of the year. Merrimack plays Marist in a weekend matchup kicking off on March 7
th and finishing on the 9
th. ACC foe Boston College will be waiting in the wings for a March 11
th trip into Chestnut Hill. The Warriors finally have their first home series as they host Canisius from March 14
th to the 16
th. A quick midweek turnaround is on tap as they square off with Northeastern on the 18th. Lawrenceville, New Jersey is the next stop for
Brian Murphy's team on March 21
st to the 23
rd for another MAAC showdown. A cross river rival matchup in Andover follows on the 25
th. Mount St. Mary's comes into town on the 28
th to the 30
th to close out the month of March.
April commences with a quick trip to play Holy Cross on the 1
st before coming back home on the 2
nd to play Maine. Siena College visits Andover from the 4
th to the 6
th in another conference series. A long ride up to Orono for a battle against the Black Bears on the 9
th sets up a weekend in Hamden, Connecticut versus Quinnipiac starting on April 11
th. The second and final meeting with the Riverhawks of UML on the 15
th headlines a busy week for Merrimack. They travel to play Fairfield on the 17
th to the 19
th. The Warriors penultimate home series sees the Peacocks of Saint Peter's come to visit on April 25
th-27
th. Back to back midweek games at Stonehill and versus Dartmouth on April 29
th and 30
th are next before a trip to Niagara from May 2
nd to the 4
th. The final non-conference game of the year welcomes Bryant on May 6
th. Merrimack will then wrap up their regular season with a home series against Iona starting on May 9
th.
The Warriors will be eligible and competing for postseason play beginning with the MAAC Championship on May 21
st to the 24
th in Pomona, New York.
