How It Happened
Merrimack was coming off a ferocious thriller against the number two ranked Lopes of Grand Canyon University. A much needed win was in store for Ray Lewis' squad. The Warriors quickly jumped out to a lead in the first set and never fell behind after that point. They would go on to win the first at 25-22.

The second set was a much different story. The Chargers jumped out to a lead, and we're up until late in the second set. Dominican led 22 to 18 before a furious 7 to 0 run for the Warriors to close out set two, 25 to 22 behind some great kills from Kai Vogel, Logan Whitaker, and Nick Tidik

The Warriors would look to close things out in the third set and they would do just that. Merrimack dominated the Chargers winning the third set 25 to 15 with Nick Tidik putting the icing on the cake with a kill to send the Warriors into the night victorious.
