SOMERSET,
N.J. – Merrimack College's
Aryaan Bhatia of the men's tennis team has won NEC Men's Player of the Week as announced by the league office Thursday afternoon. The senior star was also one of three Men's Prime Performers this week.
Bhatia had very solid outings this week against both Queens College and Wagner. He gave the Warriors their lone point against Queens College sweeping his opponent in two sets. Against Wagner, Bhatia and his doubles partner,
Jacob Dubas, took care of business, winning 6-3. Bhatia continued to dominate against the Seahawks, only allowing his opponent to score one point.
The Warriors travel to Hamden, Connecticut to face-off against the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Friday, March 15
th at 2:00 PM.
