Staten Island, N.Y-- Merrimack Softball resumed Northeast Conference play with two come from behind wins over the Wagner Seahawks with a 6-4 and 6-3 win respectively on a sunny Friday afternoon.

Game 1: Wagner scored the first four runs of the contest scoring twice in the third and fourth inning but the Warriors fired back first with two runs in the fifth after a
Madison Cerpa two RBI double, in the sixth
Thiana Brito would cut the lead to one with an infield single and with the bases loaded
Courtney Lanpher would tie the score at four, earning the RBI the hard way, getting hit by the pitch.
Madison Cerpa would be the next player up and drive in two more with an RBI double to left, scoring Brito and
Ellen Hubbard. With a two run lead,
Cecelia Imbimbo would finish her 4.1 innings in relief, holding the Seahawks off the board in the final two innings to capture her first career victory.

Game 2: Merrimack fell behind first again in game two as Wagner started the game scoring three runs in the first inning but Merrimack would get three runs of their own in the third as
Courtney Lanpher would double, scoring
Samantha Sosnovich before
Ellen Hubbard would score on a wild pitch and Lanpher would score herself on an RBI single from
Madeline Arvai.

After several scoreless innings,
Courtney Lanpher would put the Warriors in front for good in the sixth with a two out, two run double that when off the top of the right field wall. The Warriors would pick up an insurance run as
