Records: Merrimack (2-8, 0-0), Bryant (2-7, 0-0)

Rapid Recap
It was a slow start through two innings as both starting pitchers were dealing. The offense was then ignited on the Merrimack side when Alex Haba came to the plate. After a Bulldog pitching change with the bases juiced, Alex Haba took the first pitch he saw over the left field fence for the grand slam. The Warriors would add one more run as well in the top of third to make it a five to nothing advantage opening it up in Smithfield. The two teams would trade scores in the fourth and fifth inning to make it a 6-1 game. Merrimack would tack on two runs in the sixth inning before Bryant added two of their own in the 7th. They would continue to mount their comeback in the 8th as they scored five runs to knot the game up at eight a piece sending the game into the ninth with the Warriors 3rd win of the year in doubt. The Warriors had more than a good chance to take the lead with the bases loaded and just one out in the top of the ninth. Ferrentino would strike out and Haba could not squeak a grounder past the pitcher as Bryant took over in their half of the ninth. Michael Dragon would come in to pitch and he would not be able to get the job done as the Warriors got walked off on for the third time this season.
