Cherry Hill, N.J. – The Merrimack College Rowing Team competed in the 2024 Knecht Cup Regatta this past Sunday, rowing in three separate heat races.
The team of
Alexis Lescovitz, Abigail Pernilla-Roche,
Hailey Young,
Tara Stoeffler, and Emily Smith placed second out of six teams in their Frosh/Novice Four heat race with a time of 8:51.41, which was also the fourth quickest time of 14 teams performing in the event.
The team of Ryan Scola,
Kaari Dexter,
Dempsey Lajoie,
Lucy McAllister, and
Emily Riggs, raced in the Second Varsity Four, finishing fourth in their heat race with a time of 8:50.47.
The team of
Alexis Lescovitz,
Skye Tucker,
Meghan Jeroszko,
Rebecca Rau, and
Jordyn Trowt competed in the Women's Varsity Four, as they finished third in their heat race with a time of 8:18.92.
