Rapid Recap
Merrimack's bats have been hot for the past week and nothing looked like it was going to change after the first inning in this one.
Dawson Bryce and
Christian Scanlon would each hit solo homerun shots. Norfolk State would get one back in the first off of the Warriors starter
Campbell Cassidy. Merrimack's offense would then go quiet as they were shutout for the next four innings. NSU would add to their one score in the first with a run in the third and fourth and two more runs in the fifth to go up 5-2.
Alex Haba would double in a run in the sixth and he would later score to make it 5-4. From that point on the Warriors didn't find any success behind the plate as they went on to lose 7-4.
