Softball Knocked Off by Boston University

Boston, MA.— Merrimack Softball couldn't get past the Boston University Terriers by a score of 9-0 in five innings on Thursday afternoon.

After a scoreless first inning, the Boston University would score five runs in the second inning and four more runs in the fourth. The game would end in the fifth inning due to the mercy rule being in effect.

Notes and Numbers:

Thiana Brito and Courtney Lanpher both had a hit each for the Warriors.
Anna Gedacht and Cecelia Imbimbo pitched two innings each for Merrimack.

Up Next: Merrimack begins their final home series on Saturday with a doubleheader against the LIU Sharks at 1 and 3 PM.
