Softball Eclipsed By Sacred Heart in Series Finale

North Andover, M.A.-- Merrimack Softball dropped the final game of their series against the Sacred Heart Pioneers falling by a score of 4-2 on Monday afternoon.
 
The Warriors would take the lead first as Madeline Arvai would score Sam Russalesi with an RBI single and Arvai would score herself with a Gabby Kaduson single, doubling the lead.
 
As the day's eclipse came and went, and the Pioneers adding a run in the fifth, the Warriors would hold the lead until the next inning tying the score in the sixth.
 
In extra innings, Sacred Heart would take the lead and add an insurance run with back to back extra base hits in the eighth to take the win.
 
Notes and Numbers:
 

• Madeline Arvai had two hits and an RBI.
• Gabby Kaduson had a hit and an RBI as well.
• Sydney Samuel had the other Warriors hit.
