NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's soccer program signed ten new members of the 2028 class this winter. The team is coming off a very successful season the previous year, winning the NEC regular season championship and will begin a new era in their Division-I journey as the Warriors are set to join the MAAC this upcoming season.
"We are very excited to welcome this very talented freshman class." said head coach
Gabe Mejaíl. "Our graduating seniors and grad students steered us into the Division I era and will be sorely missed, but we expect a lot from our incoming class of 2028 to make up for their departure. These student-athletes are not only talented, but great athletes as well as academically strong. They will give us good depth at several positions and they should also contribute right away as we begin the transition into the MAAC."
