SYRACUSE, NY – The Merrimack College Baseball team completed a masterful sweep of Le Moyne with a series ending win that clinched them a spot in the NEC tournament. This marks the first ever postseason berth in the program's division one history.

Merrimack looked for the sweep of the Dolphins after already securing the series win. Early on it was once again
Dawson Bryce doing
Dawson Bryce things homering in his third straight game to give the Warriors a first inning 1-0 lead. Le Moyne knotted it up at one in their half of the inning.
Christian Gemelli would come to the plate in the second inning and reach on an error which allowed
Cavan Brady to score. In the third
Matthew Chatelle stepped into the batter's box with the bases juiced. Chatelle would smash a ball into left field for his second grand slam in as many weekend's. Merrimack would never lose the lead after that point. Le Moyne struck for two in the third and another in the fifth to draw closer at 7-5.
Braydon Dolbashian would prove to be the separator with his two run sixth inning blast. The Warriors would go on to finish the sweep, winning 11-7 over the Dolphins.

Merrimack will finish off their regular season back at home with a three game set with Stonehill starting May 16th.
