Women's Soccer Stumped by Boston College

Chestnut Hill, MA – Merrimack College Warriors Women's Soccer team were defeated by the Boston College Eagles by a score of 5-1 on Sunday afternoon.

  • Boston College struck first five minutes into the contest after long ball into a one on one opportunity that was converted.
 
  • The Warriors were able to get back on level terms after earning a free kick on the edge of the 18 yard box, Jillian Golden would put the ball in off the post at 13 minutes into the game.
 
 
  • Boston College would go back ahead with a goal 21 minutes later, and then would score an insurance goal less than a minute after.
 
  • Boston College would score twice late in the second half to close out the game.
