Pedra Scores Stunning Goal Despite Women's Soccer's Loss to Dartmouth

Hanover, NH – Merrimack College Warriors Women's Soccer team were knocked off by the Dartmouth Big Green by a score of 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Dartmouth scored the opening goal just under 12 minutes into the game, but the Warriors would find their equalizer 15 minutes later as Taylor Pedra would launch a shot from 35 yards away on the right side of the field and the ball would sail into the top left corner of the net to tie the game at one.
In the second half, Dartmouth would retake the lead at 57 minutes and add an insurance goal just past the hour mark. The Big Green would add one more goal with three and a half minutes to go.
