Women's Soccer Plays To A Draw Against Maine

Orono, M.E.-   The Merrimack College Warriors women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw against the University of Maine Black Bears on Thursday night.

• In low event first half, the Warriors fired two shots on target while Lily Morgan stopped the only Maine shot on goal in the opening 45.

• In the second half, Maine would turn up the heat, firing 18 shots and 12 only target by it would by Lily Morgan once again turning all 12 shots on target away including a lunging save off the line to keep the score level. 
   
   
  Notes and Numbers:

 

• Lily Morgan notched her second clean sheet of the season and her second 10+ save performance of the season as well, her fifth such performance in her career.

UP NEXT: The Warriors begin their home schedule with a four-game home stand as they get set to face the Bryant University Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon, kickoff is set for 12 PM.
