Men's Soccer Falls to UMass Lowell

North Andover, MA-   The Merrimack College Warriors Men's soccer team fell in non conference play to the visiting UMass Lowell Riverhawks at Martone-Mejail field.

Merrimack (1-5-0), UMass Lowell (5-1-2)

• The Riverhawks struck first, scoring off of a deflection in the 32nd minute to take a 1-0 lead into the half. The Warriors best chance came early in the half when a Riverhawks defender made two blocks on the goal line to keep the game scoreless.

• In the second half, the Riverhawks doubled their lead early before Gabriele Bosio scored his first career collegiate goal that brought the Warriors back to within one in the 48th minute. That would prove to not be enough as UMass Lowell would hold on to win 2-1.

• Gabriele Bosio tallied his first career collegiate goal in the 48th minute

• Tommaso Ogliari tallied the assist for the lone Warrior goal

• Nelton Semedo made 3 saves over the course of the game
