HAMDEN, Conn. – The Merrimack College Field Hockey team was unable to capture their first victory of the season as they traveled to Quinnipiac University.

How It Happened
The Warriors we're looking to grab their first victory of the year. They would struggle offensively and the Bobcats we're able to pepper the Warriors goalie
Isabelle Gardiner with shot after shot. Quinnipiac would score three goals in the first period and add two more in the second. Merrimack would go into the half down 5-0. In the third, Quinnipiac would score one more time early on and then there wouldn't be any scoring for the rest of the frame. Quinnipiac would tack on another score to make it 7-0 early in the fourth period before the Warriors responded in the 52
nd minute with a goal.
