EDISON, NJ- Lily Morgan is the winner of this week's MAAC Defensive Player of the Week. The 5th year goalkeeper had 5 saves and 0 GA in this past weekend's victory over the Niagara Purple Eagles.
Morgan has had a successful campaign thus far, putting up impressive numbers in her graduate season. As of September 30th, she has a 1.89 GAA and a 4-4-1 record. She has made 67 saves in goal this season, contributing to the strides the team has made in conference play. This past weekend was her third shutout in 2024, with the others being against UMass Lowell and University of Maine. She has only missed one game and has helped the Warriors tremendously at the goalkeeper position.Â
