Women's Soccer Stymied by New Hampshire

North Andover, M.A.-   The Merrimack College Warriors women's soccer team battled but couldn't get past the University of New Hampshire Wildcats, as they were defeated 2-0 on Wednesday evening.

Rapid Recap:
Merrimack: 0, New Hampshire: 2
Merrimack (2-3-1), New Hampshire (4-1-1)

  • New Hampshire would score the opening goal at 16 minutes into the game, and they would add a second goal eight minutes later as a high lofting shot nestled it's way into the top right corner of the net.

On the other side, Taylor Pedra's long range effort sailed just over the crossbar in the late going of the match.
