Two minutes later they would add another. The Danes would score two more times in the first quarter to take a 4-0 lead over the Warriors. In the second quarter Merrimack continued to struggle offensively as UAlbany continuously put the pressure on goalie Isabelle Gardiner and the entire back line of the Warrior defense. The Danes added two more goals to go up 6-0 heading into the halftime break. The home team would cap off their win over MC with two more goals in the third before a scoreless fourth quarter.
