In the second, more penalties would come, but the Warriors would not only weather the storm with
Max Lundgren making 12 saves, but
Trevor Hoskin slammed home his second powerplay goal of the evening to stretch the lead to three on the only goal of the period.
Providence scored with under a minute into the third period, and added another with the net empty, but would get no more as
Max Lundgren made his final of 40 saves at the horn to preserve the victory.
