North Andover, MA-- The Merrimack Women's Track and Field Team was projected to finish in sixth place out in the MAAC Indoor Track and Field Preseason Poll as announced by the league office on Monday morning.
Maci Chapman will look to build off a strong cross-country season in the fall, in the indoor season last year, she won the 3000 meter run in the Harvard Crimson open with a Personal Best time of 10:22.35 as well as setting a PR in the 5000 meter run with a time of 18:11.68.
Riley Paskow is also a key to the Warriors success as in the indoor season the previous year, she produced a fifth place finish in the 800m with a PB time of 2:24.04 at the Crimson Open, was part of the Warriors 4x400m tandem that finished first with a time of 4:06.53 at the Reggie Open and she placed fourth in the 400m dash with a PR time of 57.95 at the MAAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
The Warriors begin their season this Saturday when they participate in two different meets, as they are entering in both the New Balance Early Bird Invite held at the Track at New Balance and the Suffolk Relays which will take place at the Reggie Lewis Center.
The 2025 MAAC Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 21-22, 2026, at the Nike Track and Field Center at The Armory in New York, New York. The two-day meet will be hosted by Manhattan University and will be held at The Armory for the 22
