NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College men's lacrosse team fell in their home opener to former America East foe, Bryant, on Saturday afternoon.

Merrimack was facing Bryant in their 2025 home opener and looking to shake off their last two games to open the year. Bryant struck early on to open the game just over a minute into the first. The Bulldogs proceeded to score the next eight goals until
Ryan Cowan put a stop to the run and got Merrimack on the board. The two teams headed into halftime with the score 9-1 in favor of the visitors.
In the second half, Bryant scored the first four tallies before
Brian Bouwman fired one into the back of the net. The Bulldogs added a few more before the third quarter ended and led 16-2 going into the final 15 minutes. Bouwman added his second just a couple minutes into the last quarter and Aidan Laurendeau would score another for the Warriors in the frame. Merrimack went on to lose to the Bulldogs 19-4.
