How it Happened
The first six runs of this midweek battle with Boston College we're scored by the Eagles through five innings. Merrimack changed the entire complexion of the game after a monster sixth inning. In the frame, the Warriors scored five runs to cut the deficit to just one run at 6-5. The Merrimack bullpen handled business in the bottom half of the sixth and seventh as the combination of
James Borsari and
Michael Bradshaw let just one Eagle get on base. Boston College came out swinging in the eighth inning scoring a quartet of runs to push their lead to five runs. Merrimack did not find any success at the plate in the top of ninth and ended up dropping the midweek to BC, 10-5.
