Rapid Recap
To start this game the Saints took a 2-0 lead but the young bunch of Warriors we're undeterred. They quickly tied the game at two a piece with goals from two of their veterans in Brian Bouwman and Casey Herod. Siena regained their lead late in the first quarter to go into the second with a slim advantage. Conor Noone was able to knot the game back up to start the next quarter just over two minutes into it. The Saints rattled off the next four goals of the first half to send the game into halftime with Merrimack trailing 7-3.

Siena added to their lead to begin the second half netting a pair of scores. Merrimack's scoring drought ended off of a sizzling goal from John Savino. The two teams traded goals after that before a trio of tallies for the Saints. The Warriors did cut into the deficit to end the frame off of a Brady Covey goal. Siena once again kicked off the scoring in the last period of play to go up 15-6. Merrimack scored two of the final three goals of the game in route to the 16-8 conference loss.
