How it Happened
The last time these two teams met it was the closest a baseball game could be, a 9-9 tie. This game was a completely different story. Bryant jumped out to a 5-0 lead through the first two innings. Eventually in the third inning the Warriors broke through with a Christian Scanlon single that brought in Samuel Sherman. The Bulldogs then rattled off three more runs to go up 8-1 in the bottom half of the third. The Warriors bats were silent for the remainder of the game, totaling just two hits in the midweek battle that went seven innings. Merrimack would go on to lose this one, 11-1.
