NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College women's lacrosse team fell to Siena by a score of 10-7 in their final home game of the season.

Lindsay Atkinson opened scoring in the fifth minute, successfully converting on a free position shot. The Saints would respond with a free position of their own, but Atkinson continued to drive the Warriors' momentum, netting her second free position of the afternoon. Again, Siena pressured the defense to tie the score at 2. Atkinson was the lone Warrior's scorer in the first quarter, netting her third goal with 20 seconds reaming in the first to put Merrimack up 3-2. In the second quarter, the Saints began to find their footing, scoring four straight.
Allison Lamphere was there to break the burst, slotting one between the pipes to cut the deficit to two.
Merrimack turned up the offense early as
Lindsay Atkinson and
Allison Lamphere each recorded shots just inches from the cage. The Saints continued to pressure the Warriors' defense and scored two in row. After a Saint's penalty,
Kaitlin Roche scored the first women-up goal of the evening. The Saints recorded their eighth goal at the seven-minute mark. Both sides traded possessions, but no scoring occurred for the remainder of the third quarter. In the fourth and final quarter, Siena scored first however, Atkinson converted on a free position to make it 10-6.
Allison Lamphere scored her second of the game to continue the Warriors burst.
