North Andover, MA.-- Merrimack Softball socked 13 hits as they took the rubber match with the Quinnipiac University Bobcats by a score of 7-2 on a warm, sunny day at the Warrior Softball Diamond.
After a scoreless opening inning, Quinnipiac would take the lead in the second, as the Bobcats pushed home two runners on an error.
The Warriors would get on the board in the bottom half, as
Sam Russalesi smashed a stand up triple over the center fielder, scoring
Alex Miller. Merrimack would tie the score in the third, with a
Madeline Arvai double and take the lead in the same inning with a
Alex Miller double to left with Arvai and
Gabby Kaduson crossing the plate.
Russalesi nabbed her second RBI hit of the game as well with a single to center field. Merrimack kept their foot on the gas in the fourth, with
Ellen Hubbard singling through the middle, scoring pinch runner
Madi Gibeault. The Warriors would push across their final run of the afternoon on a
Alex Miller infield hustle single.
With the five run lead intact,
Anna Gedacht would earn the complete game, allowing only one base runner for the remainder of the game to get the victory.

- Sam Russalesi went a perfect three for three at the plate with two RBIs.
- Alex Miller had two hits and three RBIs.
- Ellen Hubbard and Thiana Brito were the other Warriors with multiple hits.
- Gabby Kaduson, Madeline Arvai, Sofia Palyan and Eva Issitt had a hit each.
- Anna Gedacht won her sixth game of the season, allowing two hits and striking out three. She pitched 14 inning in the weekend, only allowing one earned run in the process.
