ANDOVER, Mass. – The Merrimack College baseball team lost their final non-conference game of the season dropping a rainy outing to Bryant in seven innings.

How it Happened
Bryant jumped out to an early lead to start the rainy affair. The Bulldogs scored five runs through the first three innings with
Luke Linnehan on the mound.
Harry Painter finally got the Warriors on the board with an RBI triple in the fourth. A
Frankie Ferrentino sacrifice fly drove in one more before the inning ended to make it 5-2. Bryant added four more runs in their half of the fifth to make it 9-2. Merrimack answered that with a trio of runs themselves coming from
Matt DeShiro,
Christian Scanlon and
Jayden Hamilton RBI's in the bottom half of the fifth. No scoring occurred in the sixth and then the rain started to come down forcing a delay and an eventual end to the game.
