North Andover, Ma.-- The Merrimack College Warriors Men's soccer team scored the lone goal in the final ten minutes to pick up their first win of the 2025 season, a 1-0 victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders on a warm sunny Sunday at Martone-Mejail Field.

An end to end first half saw chances on both sides but no scoring as
Nelton Semedo made two saves in the opening 45 minutes.
In the final ten minutes,
John Labelle would whipped in a cross from the left wing from about 35 yards from goal, the cross would loop high and drop low for
Alessandro Bedei who rifled the ball home top left corner over the outstretched Crusaders goalkeeper for a highlight reel strike.
With the lead in hand, the Warriors would keep the ball in their possession, looking for a second goal and
Nelton Semedo would make one more save to close out the contest.
