The Basics
Score: Merrimack 0, Quinnipiac 8
Records: Merrimack (1-6), Quinnipiac (5-3)

How It Happened
Quinnipiac struck first in the opening quarter, capitalizing on an early penalty corner to take a 1-0 lead. The Bobcats continued to apply pressure and added two more goals before halftime to carry a 3-0 advantage into the break. Merrimack regrouped in the second half and showed stretches of strong defensive play, limiting Quinnipiac's looks in the circle and forcing several shots wide. The Warriors also began to generate chances of their own, creating pressure in transition and drawing corners. Despite Merrimack's push, Quinnipiac found the back of the cage five more times, including a pair of quick goals midway through the fourth quarter to pull away late. The Warriors continued to battle until the final whistle, with their goalkeeper recording multiple quality saves and the backline blocking several dangerous opportunities in the circle. The effort provided valuable experience against a deep Bobcats team and showed positive strides to build on moving forward.

Notable Performers
Both Ciara Ryan and Parker Parker had shots on goal.
Isabelle Gardiner had eight saves in the defeat.
