NORTH ANDOVER, MASS.— Emma Pfeffer scored her first goals of the season in Merrimack's 4-2 loss to Union College on Friday afternoon at Lawler Arena.
Pfeffer opened the scoring in the game on a scramble in front at the four minute mark of the first period.
Machala Musty's career beginning shutout streak was broken after over 135 minutes in the second period, the first of three in the period for Union.
Union would add one more in the third period, but Merrimack would get it right back with Pfeffer scoring her second on a two-on-one with Madison Vittands.
Vittands' two assists give her eight points in her last six games of the regular season going back to last year with three multi-point games.
Merrimack looks for the split tomorrow against Union at 2 PM at Lawler Arena.
