Women's Basketball Mounts Comeback In Overtime Thriller Vs. Marist

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY -- Oralye Kiefer played hero as the Merrimack women's basketball team claimed a 77-72 overtime thriller against Marist on Thursday night. 

Kiefer caught an inbound pass from Paloma Garcia, and turned it into a one-handed floater with 0.6 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. Kiefer finished the night with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Madison Roman scored game-high 23 points (9-for-14, 3-4 from 3-point rank) and came down with 11 rebounds. It marked the 14th time Roman has finished with a double-double this season.

Se'Lah Reddick set a new career-high with 18 points and six rebounds in 42 total minutes. 

Garcia, who now has scored double figured in four of the last five games, concluded with 14 points, a career-high nine assists and seven rebounds. 

The Warriors (14-10 overall, 11-4 in MAAC) will host Siena on Saturday at 2 p.m.
