Softball Drops Double-Header Vs. Maine

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. -- The Merrimack softball team suffered a pair of losses in its home-opening double-header against Maine at Warrior Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. 

Merrimack lost the first game, 8-0, before a 6-2 defeat in the afternoon matchup.

In the second game, Caity Lemay (1-for-3, run) helped cut Merrimack's deficit to 4-2 in the fourth inning before Maine taked on a pair of seventh-inning runs.
