BUFFALO, NY - Winners of four of their past five, the Merrimack College baseball team takes on the Canisius Golden Griffins in a three game series in Buffalo.
The Warriors are coming off a come-from-behind victory over Northeastern earlier in the week when Joey Frammartino hit a go-ahead two-run double.
Frammartino found the bases three times in the game, driving his on-base-percenage up to .571. He also leads the team in batting average going .370 at the plate.
The MAAC's Pitcher of the Week Colby Barker improved to 4-0 last week and carries a 0.46 ERA which places him seventh in the nation.
Freshman catcher Garrett McGovern is batting .349 on the season. He's hit five doubles and knocked in nine runs thus far.Â
Brooke Craigue has been swinging a hot bat of recent, going seven of his last 14. He's had two hits in three straight games while carrying a six game hitting streak.Â
Jayden Hamilton is the team leader in hits with 23 total.Â
Greg Cristino paces the Warriors in long-balls with three this season. He leads the team in RBI's with 18.Â
Leadoff hitter Matt DeShiro is up to 17 hits this season with one home run.Â
