LAWRENCE, MA - Merrimack College baseball takes on UMass Lowell in their first home game of the 2026 season this Tuesday at 3 p.m.
Joey Frammartino is the Warrior leader in batting average (.361), on-base-percentage (.529), and slugging (1.070). Frammartino was the hero of a come-from-behind victory over defending CAA champs Northeastern last week.Â
Pitcher Colby Barker earned his fifth win of the season improving to a perfect 5-0 start. He currently carries one of the NATIONS best ERA's at 0.35. He has held batters against him to a .169 average. In all five appearances he's allowed a total of two runs.Â
Jayden Hamilton has racked up a team leading 25 hits. Matt DeShiro follows close behind with 23 hits. DeShiro is currently riding a six game hitting streak and leads the team in doubles (6).
First baseman Greg Cristino and outfielder Christian Scanlon both lead the team with three home runs. Cristino is the team leader in RBI's with 18 and Scanlon follows close behind with 13.Â
Freshman Garrett McGovern has made a splash over his first 15 appearances with the Warriors. He is batting .340 with 17 hits (five doubles), and 10 RBI's.Â
