LAWRENCE, MA - Merrimack College baseball clinched the series win in a 13-1 victory over the Manhattan Jaspers this Sunday afternoon.
The Warriors scored 13 runs for the second straight game and all nine starters recorded at least one hit for the second game in a row.
James Borsari pitched five scoreless innings, only allowing five hits. Samuel Franco came in to pitch the last two innings and struck out three batters.
Multiple Warriors homered in the double-digit victory. Brooks Craigue started things off with a solo homer, followed by a grand slam from Christian Scanlon the next inning, and a three-run shot courtesy of Joey Frammartino in the fifth.
Craigue did it all in the win, coming a triple shy of the cycle.
Jayden Hamilton drove in two runs off a single in the fifth inning.
Greg Cristino stayed hot at the plate, reaching base three times (two singles, one walk).
Jack DePalma, Chris Goode, and Samuel Sherman all had two hits.
The Warriors welcome Holy Cross to Alumni Field on Tuesday. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
