AMESBURY, MA. – Merrimack College men's hockey freshman forward
Justin Gill was named as Hockey East Rookie of the Month for the first time in his career as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Justin had eight points in seven games in the month, including carrying a streak of 13 games with at least pone point and seven games with at least one goal in that time. Gill sits in the team lead in goals with 14 and tied for second on the team in assists with 16.
Gill and the Warriors have one more game in the regular season, which will be played tomorrow against the UMass Lowell Riverhawks at 7 PM at Lawler Arena.
