KINGSTON, RI - Merrimack College baseball continues their nine-game road trip with a matchup against the Rams of Rhode Island this Wednesday at 3 p.m.
The Warrior rotation is led by Colby Barker, who is 5-2 and carries a 2.89 ERA.Â
Barker pitched five no-hit innings against Northeastern last Friday.
Greg Cristino highlights the Warrior attack on offense, hitting six home runs thus far. His latest home run game against the Maine Black Bears on Sunday.Â
Cristino is batting .283 this season and leads the team in hits, doubles, home runs, and RBI.Â
Outfielder Joey Frammartino continues his success into the second half of the season, carrying a team high .347 average, 1.049 OPS, .531 SLG%, and whopping .518 OBP.Â
Shortstop Brooks Craigue also maintains an over .300 batting average (.319), while having 36 total hits with Cristino.Â
Craigue looks to increase his on base streak to five games, after reaching in every game last week.Â
Leadoff hitter Matt DeShiro comes in with a .283 batting average and has added four home runs.Â
He leads the team in plate appearances and has reached first base safely in 21 straight games.Â
