Baseball Begins Three-Game Weekend Against Marist

LAWRENCE, MA - Merrimack College baseball is back home for a weekend series against the Red Foxes of Marist University.

Joey Frammartino paces the team in batting with a .322 average. Frammartino had crushed four home runs and seven doubles. He also leads the team in RBI with 32, OBP (.500), and OPS (.983).

Greg Cristino has hit six long balls and 12 doubles, which are both team highs. 

Brooks Craigue comes into the weekend with a .313 batting average and 42 hits, while leadoff hitter Matt DeShiro is up to a team high 45 hits, and a .292 average.

Freshman Garrett McGovern had a .293 batting average, and has tallied 25 total hits. 

The Warrior pitching has been led by Colby Barker, who leads the conference in wins at seven. Barker carries a 2.68 ERA and has held opponents to a .208 batting average. 

Game time Friday is at 3 pm, while Saturday is 1 pm, and Sunday is 12 noon.
